Customers are responsible for all servicing, maintenance and insurance costs unless otherwise stated. Packages including tyres, servicing & insurance are available. It will be your responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is serviced and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines, as this may affect the validity of any warranty claim, and the lender might charge for missing service history if the vehicle is returned to them without it.
Contracts may have mileage restrictions that will be based on the vehicle travelling a specified number of miles each year. Increasing the agreed annual mileage at the outset will make a slight difference to monthly payments shown. Exceeding any agreed mileage will incur a charge at the end of the contract, as the vehicle may not be worth as much as initially expected if it has travelled more miles.
The lender may make additional charges under the terms of their agreement for cherished number plate transfers, foreign travel authorisation, missed or late payments, or in circumstances where you grossly exceed the agreed mileage, mistreat the vehicle, or if they need to administer any parking fines, road traffic offences or congestion charges on your behalf.
Where road fund licence is included it is at the current rate, and you will need to pay the difference if that rate changes.
Your vehicle is at risk if you do not keep up with the repayments.
To obtain the best possible discounts, vehicles are often pre-registered in bulk batches, or have to be registered by a certain date, which may be well before you take delivery, but when this pre-registration process takes place it means that customers will only receive the balance of any manufacturer's warranty or breakdown cover, and where the agreement length is greater than three years from the date the vehicle was first registered, customers on non-maintenance agreements will be responsible for paying for any MOT certificate(s) as required.
Electric vehicle charging times are based on estimates. Rapid charging refers to use of a 150kW charging point; home charging refers to use of a home 7kW charging point. Charging time can differ based on the ambient temperature, the state of the battery (e.g. empty or half full) and variation in charging rate. Maximum charging rate may also be limited by the vehicle. Environmental factors and your driving style/use of the vehicle will affect the range you obtain from the vehicle between charges. In the same way that fuel consumption would be adversely affected in a petrol or diesel vehicle, the following may increase load on your battery and reduce the range you can realistically obtain: rapid acceleration and higher driving speeds, running the air conditioning in hot weather, or the heating and headlights in the colder, darker months. Battery performance can also be affected by cold weather.
A fee for our service may apply and will be clearly detailed on your quotation and on the regulatory information notice. An initial documentation fee, and an end of contract fee of up to £210+vat each may apply. We may receive a payment or other benefit from any lender(s) or supplier (s) that we introduce you to, which will be included in the repayments that you make. You have the right to know the amount of any payment we will receive for our service. Once a vehicle has been ordered and the loan approved (where applicable), if you subsequently decide to cancel you will need to pay for the cost of all the services provided to you already up to the point of cancellation.
